How it all Began...
I have been involved with riding, training, and breeding horses since 1958, when I started riding gymkana horses. In 1976 we moved to Arkansas and shortly I began breeding
Arabian Horses. I bred for comformation, temperment, and usability. Our horses were mainly used for cow horses and trail and competive riding.
In 1980 I purchased my first Miniature mare, " Misty Mocka" as a pet. This mare turned out to be a great show horse and breeding mare, she produced a colt,
"Thunderbolt" who was the all time winning AMHA gelding. Misty also won many awards herself including National Champion Mare and foal, and Reserve National Champion Broodmare. She went on to
produce many other winners, and she is now retired at 26 years old, although last year was chosen to be on the cover of a very exclusive sale catalogue.
We have built our herd by hand picking each horse. We started with quality mares well within the 34" size, good comformation and pedigrees. Then we bought three
stallions "Tuckaways Willie Winkie" 291/2", "X-Calibers Something Special" 311/4", and "Brewers Orion Spirit" 28".
From these horses we built our herd, and have produced several National Champions including "Lancasters Special Houdini", Lancasters Special Gazell", Lancasters Spirits
Cupie Doll, and 2001 National Grand Champion Stallion, Lancasters Special Moonlight Magic.
We strive for quality not quantity. We have several quality individuals for sale at all times at reasonable prices. Whether you want a pet, breeding horse or a show
horse or a starter group we can help you.
I held served as a licensed AMHA judge for 6 years, but have recently devoted all my time to the care of our horses and farm.
